Headquarters move for Agria Pet Insurance

Specialist pet insurer, Agria Pet Insurance, is excited to announce the business has moved. Having been in their previous office since the UK arm of Agria launched in 2009, the company has not only rapidly become a major part of the UK pet insurance industry but has outgrown its original premises.

Now Agria’s award-winning team will be providing lifetime insurance for the UK’s pets from the iconic ‘Blue Leanie’ building in Aylesbury. As well as insuring cats, dogs and rabbits with Agria policies, the company also underwrites policies for organisations that include The Kennel Club and the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF).

Managing Director of Agria Pet Insurance, Simon Wheeler, says, “Relocating to our new premises comes at a very exciting time for Agria. Since entering the competitive UK market less than ten years ago, we have experienced exceptional business growth and unparalleled development of our strong partnerships across the vet, breeder and rehoming channels.

“We attribute our growth to Agria’s unrivalled understanding and empathy with pets and their owners, coupled with the fact that we specialise in pet insurance and offer a full service for customers from policy and claims management to underwriting.

“This gives us the unique freedom to support our members and their pets when they are sick or injured with flexible lifetime cover focused exclusively on their needs, rather than fitting a suite of general insurance products such as home, life and motor.”

Founded in Sweden over 125 years ago, Agria is one of the world’s leading animal insurers, specialising in small animal and equine insurance. The global business has a significant presence across Scandinavia and the UK, and has most recently launched in France.
